A family friendly fundraising walk supporting our summer kids activities.
Join us on Saturday 22nd April for our family friendly fundraising walk, it’s open to everyone of all ages, shapes, sizes & is even dog friendly. The walk will take in 3 of Liverpool’s most iconic green spaces: Princes Park, Sefton Park & Otterspool Park. Altogether it’s a 5.4 mile walk with various jump on points along the route to accommodate all abilities. An amazing chance to get active whilst also raising some much-needed Funds for our summer kids activities at The Florrie. Our summer activities for local children have been running for around 7 years & include activities like trips Alton Towers, Blackpool, outdoor cinema screenings, play groups & our holiday hunger scheme.
The walk will begin at the Florrie at 12 o’clock, but don’t worry if you can’t meet us at the start, there will be various meeting points throughout the Walk; (Princes Park Gates, Sefton Park Needle, Jericho Lane/Otterspool Woods entrance). Join in where you can, to suit your ability. The 5-mile walk should roughly take 4 hours at a steady pace, remember it’s a fun walk & not a race. The end point will of course be The Florrie, where you will be invited to fuel up with a Barbeque, ice cream, beat the keeper, inflatables & other free activities.
Let’s get together & make this a day to remember for all. If you are unable to make the walk but would still like to make a contribution you can via our GoFundMe page.
